BlackRock, McKinsey et al help UK government reopen economy

The different working groups discussed how to revive the UK's economy by improving inward investment, skills and the environment

Some of the biggest business names in the finance, accounting and consulting sectors have gathered to contribute to the UK government’s strategy on how to kick-start Britain’s economy, following the devastation of the coronavirus pandemic.

The five recovery roundtables, hosted by the government’s business secretary Alok Sharma from 10–13 June, were attended by around 100 businesses and trade bodies, a government statement said on 15 June.
