BlackRock has created a new head-of-UK position and appointed a former chief of staff to Larry Fink to fill it, amid the biggest overhaul of the company’s top echelons in a decade.
Sarah Melvin, who is currently based in New York as head of BlackRock’s institutional client business in the US and Canada, will return to London in May to take up the role.
