BlackRock has made a raft of promotions at director and managing director level as part of a series of staff changes in Europe.

Pensions expert Richard Wood, who joined the company from Mercer in November 2009, is promoted from director to managing director, while Tom McGrath has been promoted from vice-president to director of European fund financial reporting.
