The former head of BlackRock’s risk analytics arm, BlackRock Solutions, in Europe, the Middle East and Africa has resurfaced at Boston Consulting Group, Financial News has learnt.

Thomas Garside, formerly managing director and head of BlackRock Solutions Emea, has joined management consultant BCG as a partner in the financial institutions practice. A spokeswoman for BCG confirmed that Garside would focus on risk management in financial services.
