Fund manager BlackRock has appointed Amra Balic as head of corporate governance and responsible investment in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Balic joins from Standard & Poor's where she was a director in European Corporate Credit Ratings and responsible for corporate governance in the credit ratings process, since 2005. She is responsible for leading BlackRock's corporate governance and responsible investment efforts in London, covering engagement and voting in the Emea region.
