One of BlackRock’s top salesmen for UK pension funds is departing for fund manager Insight Investment, one of the few that can rival it in the low-risk bond investments that are increasingly popular among retirement funds.

Andrew Stephens leaves the US asset manager after 19 years, and moves up to overall head of sales for Europe at the smaller company. He joined at the start of the month, the company said in a statement on July 8.
