Blackstone managing director switches teams

The move follows other high-profile changes within the US-based buyout giant's London business this year

Andrea Valeri, a managing director in Blackstone’s London private equity team, has switched to the firm’s tactical opportunities division, according to two people familiar with the matter.

Valeri, who joined the global buyout firm in 2005 and was formerly a vice president within Goldman Sachs' mergers and acquisition group, has joined the tactical opportunities team, which was established last year. Blackstone confirmed the move but declined to comment further.
