Canadian law firm Blake, Cassels & Graydon and its associated Middle Eastern firm, Dr. Saud Al-Ammari Law Firm, have added two new members to their Bahrain office. Carlos Cerqueira, a partner who practices corporate and commercial law and focuses on mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate finance deals, moves to Bahrain after working in Blakes's London offices. Brenda Mothersill, an associate with the firm, is also moving from London. She focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations and dispositions. The associated firms opened offices in the Gulf with four professionals in 2009 and now have 14 lawyers evenly split between Bahrain and Khobar in Saudi Arabia who focus on corporate finance, M&A, project development and dispute work.
