Block lifted on Woodford investor switches from Hargreaves Lansdown

Move to allow transfers comes as Woodford confirms two long-serving staff have left the firm

The company responsible for administering Neil Woodford’s beleaguered equity income fund has lifted a restriction that prevented some individuals invested via Hargreaves Lansdown from switching to rival fund platforms.

Link Fund Solutions, which is the authorised corporate director for the suspended £3.7bn Woodford Equity Income fund, had been pulled up for preventing some Woodford investors from moving between fund brokers.
