Blood and Gore fund plans at least 13% return

Al Gore, US vice-president under Bill Clinton, and David Blood, former chief executive of Goldman Sachs Asset Management in London, have launched Generation Investment Management and are planning to generate investment returns of at least 13%.

Blood, managing partner of the new firm, where Gore is chairman, said: "With a concentrated, long-only strategy such as ours we should outperform the index by 200 to 500 basis points.
