The Bond Market Association, which represents all of the leading sell-side institutions in the debt markets, has formed a distressed debt committee to work on legal, regulatory and market practice issues impacting the market.

Michael Carley from UBS will chair the committee. Arthur Hahn from Lazard will be vice chairman. Carley has been a director in the distressed debt group at UBS since 2001.
