Tom Kennedy, head of equity syndicate at French bank BNP Paribas, has left just months after adding Paris to his London responsibilities.

Kennedy, who has not said where he is going, joined BNP Paribas in 2001 from Deutsche Bank where he had worked since 1995. He became head of the London syndicate desk in 2002.
