BNP Paribas' Frankfurt office has hired its second Lazard banker in five weeks appointing Markus Schneider as a director in its corporate finance team.

Last month BNP hired Nicholas Groen, to be head of German equity capital markets. Groen was a director in Lazard's German equity capital markets team but left the bank at the end of 2003.
