BNP Paribas hires derivatives professional in Asia

BNP Paribas has hired Rinesh Mehta to work in Singapore on its fixed-income derivatives team in the latest sign of the bank's wide-ranging expansion in Asia.

Mehta will take a new role in the bank that will focus on options products relating to the fixed income business. He will be responsible for interest rate and long-dated foreign exchange option trading in Asian currencies.
