BNP Paribas has hired a new head of equity derivatives strategy for the Americas less than six months after it named Christian Roch to oversee the development of the division, which the French investment bank continues to expand in the region.
Carl Mason has been appointed to oversee the equity derivatives strategy team based in the US, having joined BNP Paribas from Morgan Stanley, where he was head of US equity derivatives strategy. He will report to Aaron Ford, head of institutional sales in North America.
