French bank targets growth in the region with a raft of internal moves

BNP Paribas has reshuffled its investment banking leadership in the Americas, including naming a chairman of the business, as it aims to become a top European player in the region.

Jean-Yves Fillion will take up the role of chairman of corporate and institutional banking in the Americas, according to a statement from the French bank. He was previously chief executive of BNP Paribas USA, a role he will retain, and CEO of CIB Americas.
