BNP Paribas has restructured its fixed income cash and derivatives sales team in the Netherlands in a bid to improve its distribution capabilities in the region.

Alex Melis, who was previously a derivatives marketer at BNP Paribas, has been appointed head of distribution in the Netherlands for interest rate products and global credit products. He reports to Mark Goldman, head of the French bank's European bond sales team, and to Stefano Paschetto, head of derivatives marketing.
