BNP Paribas has been appointed as corporate broker to the world’s biggest bottler of Coca-Cola products as the French bank looks to build out the business after starting a team from scratch.

BNP has been awarded its third broking mandate since poaching a team of senior bankers from Credit Suisse in 2018 in a bid to muscle in on the highly-competitive world of corporate broking. It was named as corporate broker to Coca-Cola European Partners, the bank said in a statement.
