David Boardman has been appointed as group head of fixed income at Lombard Odier, following the departure of Paul Abberley to ABN Amro.

To take the position, Boardman has quit as global fixed income chief at West LB Asset Management, known as West AM, after less than a year in position. His deputy Jacqueline Steers has, however, agreed to stay at West and will be stepping up to the number one slot.
