BoE to focus on cyber resilience at exchanges and clearing houses

The Bank of England has set itself the task of ensuring exchanges and clearing houses can withstand cyber attacks and other operational disruptions, according to its report on financial market infrastructures published today.

The central bank's annual overview of its priorities for supervising the industry comes a month after the global trade body for trading venues, the World Federation of Exchanges, published a set of cyber security best practice guidelines.
