Stuart Bohart, former co-head of Morgan Stanley's asset management unit, is joining Fortress Investment Group as president of its liquid markets unit, said people close to the matter.

Bohart, 44 years old, also will serve on Fortress's management committee and be senior managing director of strategy for the $42bn (€32bn) New York-based hedge fund and private equity manager.
