Booker Foundation plays down rift reports as Man pulls sponsorship

Hedge fund is pulling its sponsorship of the famed literary award after almost 20 years

The Booker Prize Foundation has rubbished claims of tensions between itself and Man Group, after the UK-listed hedge fund manager decided to pull its sponsorship of the famed literary award.

News emerged on January 27 that Man was ending its multimillion-pound sponsorship of the Man Booker Prize after almost two decades.
