Boris Johnson appoints former Bank of America MD as chief of staff

Rosenfield joins No 10 from Hakluyt, a strategic advisory firm for businesses and investors

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has appointed a former investment banker as his new chief of staff.

Dan Rosenfield, who worked as a managing director in the investment banking division of Bank of America between 2011 and 2016, will begin work at No 10 on 7 December, according to a 26 November statement from the prime minister's office.
