Boutique advises France Télécom on Canal Plus cable deal

Toulouse et Associés, a Paris-based advisory boutique with 10 staff, is advising France Télécom on its negotiations with Canal Plus, the French Pay TV company, regarding a merger of their cable TV businesses.

Toulouse came to prominence as an adviser to France Télécom in November 2002, when Thierry Breton, the chief executive of France Télécom, appointed the boutique to supervise its restructuring process ahead of mainstream investment banks.
