Boutique makes £2m loss in maiden year

A boutique investment fund and advisory firm founded by Deutsche Bank’s former head of principal finance lost nearly £2m (€2.2m) in its first year of business, according to accounts filed with Companies House.

SPQR, which was founded by former senior Deutsche Bank executive Bertrand des Pallieres, lost £1.94m (€1.99m) in its financial year ending March 2008, the latest available figures.
