Sun Life Financial Services of Canada has turned to the boutique Norman Riddell & Associates for the sale of SLC Asset Management, its UK fund management arm, according to sources close to the deal.

Norman Riddell & Associates is a five-strong corporate finance house based in the City of London set up in 1997 by Norman Riddell. He was previously chief executive of Invesco, the Anglo American investment manager. Riddell would not comment on the mandate.
