Bradesco turns to FTSE smart beta in international push

The move comes as Bradesco Asset Management tries to gather more assets outside its home region

Bradesco Asset Management, the Brazilian fund manager whose chief executive was recently tapped as the country’s next finance minister, has teamed up with FTSE for its first smart beta fund as it continues an international push.

It has hired UK-based FTSE, which is owned by the London Stock Exchange Group, to provide the underlying index for the fund, the index provider's first such index providing regional exposure in Latin America.
