Banca Leonardo, the Italian investment bank set up by Gerardo Braggiotti, has hired a team of fund managers and private bankers ahead of the launch of three new funds.

The bank has hired Federico Ceresole from Goldman Sachs as a senior manager in the asset management business with a focus on developing Leonardo's absolute return products.
