Gerrardo Braggiotti, who resigned as chairman of Lazard's European business and chairman of Italy a month ago, will leave on Friday. His departure ends a seven-year association with the independent investment bank.

A source close to Braggiotti confirmed today that the Italian banker will leave Lazard on July 15.
