Brainspark expands to compete with private equity firms

Internet incubator Brainspark is to create a new arm focusing on investments in the wireless market in an attempt to keep up with big private equity firms looking at this market.

Brainspark, which now has £9.9m of assets under management, plans to add two new investments to its existing 16. One is in a business to business rail industry portal, and the other in an internet site about the dance music market.
