Edward Bramson is stepping down as interim chief executive of Electra Private Equity, the firm said today, around 18 months after he took the role following a long-running boardroom battle with the activist investor he leads.

In its full-year results to the end of September, published today, Electra said Bramson will revert to a non-executive board role from March.
