Breillout to run debt finance at SG

Marc Breillout has been appointed global head of debt finance at SG following the promotion of Jean-Pierre Mustier to the role of chief executive of corporate and investment banking.

Mustier created SG's debt finance division in 2001, bringing the fixed income and treasury businesses under one umbrella. Breillout joined Group Société Général in 1978 and held several positions in the retail bank. In the 1990s he ran different divisions of Fimat, the brokerage owned by SG Group, and last year became chief operating officer of the corporate and investment bank.
