Brexit damage ‘irreversible’ for City says Goldman chair Barroso

José Manuel Barroso, the former president of the European Commission, believes Brexit will cause “irreversible” damage to the City of London.

Barroso, who is now chair of Goldman Sachs International, said that although he thinks London will remain one of the world’s leading financial centres, the financial capital “should not underestimate the risks for its future”.
