The amount of money managed by private-equity funds registered in Luxembourg has shot up this year, new research shows, as the country continues to benefit from fund managers planning for the UK’s departure from the European Union.

Assets under management across 640 private-equity funds regulated in the country reached €88.5bn ($101bn) this year through September 30, according to a survey conducted by Deloitte and the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry.
