Bridgepoint Capital, the European buy-out house, has hired Håkan Johansson to expand its Nordic team, in the team's first addition since Bridgepoint opened its Stockholm office in October last year.

Johansson will be an investment director, with no industry specialisation. He previously worked in corporate finance at Nordea Securities, where he was a director. He has also worked for Maizels, Westerberg & Co, the Nordic mergers and acquisitions house, and Credit Suisse First Boston.
