Ed Britton, a director in the fixed income and currencies team at Baring Asset Management, has left fund management to join Watson Wyatt as an investment consultant.

Baring said it would be replacing Britton, who formally left in December, though not immediately. Nigel Sillis, head of credit research, has taken over his role co-managing the £9.2m (€13.4m) ING Corporate Bond trust alongside Francesca Battisti-Davies.
