Diageo, the UK drinks group, is set to become the largest company to change its corporate brokers after running a beauty parade involving six banks.
Catherine James, head of investor relations at Diageo, which has a market capitalisation of £22bn (€31bn), confirmed that the company had received presentations from Cazenove and Merrill Lynch, the company's brokers, as well as Credit Suisse First Boston, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
