Brutal job cuts force Deutsche to rethink how to fill new HQ

Deutsche Bank has been forced to rethink its plans about filling its new multimillion-pound headquarters in London following last week’s brutal round of job cuts.

The German lender, which moves into the 564,000 sq ft HQ in 2023 and is locked into a 25-year lease, is reviewing its strategy over which staff will occupy the 16-floor skyscraper at 21 Moorfields after chief executive Christian Sewing announced a radical shake-up of its business that includes 18,000 job cuts.
