The suspended equity fund managed by embattled stock picker Neil Woodford has taken another severe hit after two of its largest holdings posted large share price declines in the past month.
According to an August 23 update from Link Fund Solutions, performance for the Woodford Equity Income fund is down 11.15 % since the decision was taken to close it on June 3. This compared with a positive 1.52% return by its benchmark, the FTSE All Share Total Return, over the same period.
