Calyon, the investment banking arm of the newly-merged Crédit Agricole and Crédit Lyonnais, has poached the chief executive of one of its joint ventures to be its head of information technology.

Pierre Guillemet joins the bank from Euro Securities Partners, a BNP Paribas and Crédit Agricole subsidiary, which ran the systems for the retail and private banking accounts at the two banks.
