Queens’ College Cambridge, one of the UK’s most august educational establishments, is shifting part of its endowment into a low-cost index tracking fund as part of its move to divest from fossil fuels.

The College, founded in 1448, announced plans to sell out of coal, oil and CO2 polluters earlier this month. Like many educational funds it has faced pressure from campaigning students to do so.
