Canada’s largest pension fund has invested £1.1 billion into UK student accommodation, a sector growing in popularity with institutional investors.

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, the investment management arm of the Canada Pension Plan, has acquired the Liberty Living brand from the Brandeaux Student Accomodation Fund, according to a statement from the Canadian investor.
