Cantor Fitzgerald, the inter-dealer broker, has hired Edward Laux, a 22-year veteran of institutional equity trading, as the new head of listed trading in its institutional equities division.

In his new role, Laux will manage listed trading operations and develop new institutional client relationships. He previously worked as a partner and head of trading at Kevin Dann & Partners, the US broker.
