Before that he was president of Sampo-Leonia, the investment bank, following the merger of Leonia, the Finnish financial services group, with Sampo Insurance. He has previously held management positions in Citibank and Merita-Nordbanken. Copeland also has corporate experience having been chief executive of the Jippii Group, a Finnish mobile telecom service company.
