Olivier Haguenauer, until recently head of equity sales in the UK and France at French brokerage Exane BNP Paribas, yesterday joined UK investment banking boutique Carlton Corporate Finance, where he will lead the firm's expansion into asset management in France.

Haguenauer, who joins Carlton as a Paris-based executive director, officially left Exane in June. Before becoming head of sales at the combined Exane BNP joint venture, he ran BNP Paribas' Euronext equities business in Paris.
