Cash is safe with Wasserstein

In the spirit of Christmas, Financial News is delighted to suggest some potential uses for those rather large but unread and unwanted books you received last year. Books like Big Deal: The Battle for Control of America's Leading Corporations by one Bruce Wasserstein, the chairman of Lazard, who clearly felt his talents extended to writing.

A website for gadgets and gifts called Boysstuff has come up with a use for Bruce's tome: cut out the inside pages and turn it into a hidden safe for your valuables. Ingenious. The question is whether the cash and valuables that fit inside the book are worth more than Bruce's words of wisdom.
