Charlie Metcalfe, the former Goldman Sachs executive who stepped down as president of Nikko Asset Management’s European business two years ago, has made a low-key comeback.

He has become founder and managing director of Wilton Real Estate Capital, a purchaser of residential property likely to benefit from the 2018 completion of London's Crossrail transport system, dubbed the Elizabeth Line.
