London-based Charterhouse Capital Partners has hired a new investor-relations executive to bolster its fundraising team, nearly two years after raising its last buyout fund.

The firm has recruited Valentina Gentile as investor-relations director, according to a Companies House filing. Gentile has joined from rival private equity firm Bain Capital, according to a person familiar with the matter.
