Chinese mutual fund managers last year collected more than five times more management fees than in 2006 as the country's domestic stock market surged and investors flocked towards mutual funds.
According to a new report from Z-Ben Advisors, a Hong Kong-based fund management consultancy, fund managers ended 2007 with management fees totalling Rmb28.2bn (â¬2.6bn), up from Rmb5.7bn the year before.
