Chinese regulator issues first foreign fund management licence

Guotai Junan Allianz Fund Management, the joint venture between Allianz and Guotai Junan Securities (GTJA), has become the first fund management company with a foreign stake to be licensed in China.

The preparation licence, issued by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), is the product of long co-operation between Allianz and its Chinese partner.
